Today on the Sound Museum with Michael Tearson – “Silence, Still and Quiet”

michaeltearsonToday at  9a/3p/9p and 3a Wed ET, a brand new show from legendary Philly broadcaster Michael Tearson!

Update from Michael:

“The relaunched www.radiothatdoesntsuck.com debuts the show I had planned to be the first new one before the sudden need for the Gregg Allman Memorial show bumped that one to first. This week’s show is a moody thing called “Silence, Still and Quiet.”

Two versions of “In a Silent Way” bookend the show, first by composer Joe Zawinul, then Miles Davis. Among those played The Five Satins, Jackson Browne, Van Morrison and Duke Ellington. It is one of my favorite new concoctions!

Hear it streaming Tuesday 9a/3p/9p/3a Wed ET. Later Wednesday it will join the Allman show in my cache of free/on demand shows available for your pleasure at http://rtds.ca/shows-schedule/michael-tearson-sound-museum-world-wide-dylan/
