MICHAEL TEARSON has been a DJ since the dawn of the album rock format. He’s lived his whole adult life on the airwaves. He’s a true radio legend with deep love and knowledge of the music, and of the musician’s mind.
As an actor, he has appeared in nearly 50 films and TV shows, including Blow Out, Dressed to Kill and Wise Guys (a De Palma trifecta!), 12 Monkeys, Oceans 11 and In Her Shoes.
MT’s Mission Statement:
“I think of the shows I do for RTDS as a Sound Museum. I conceive ’em as works of art and hang ’em on the wall. Then you as listener hit the button and take the ride that each show is. I get to do radio with imagination fully engaged, something that just cannot happen on broadcast radio anymore. None are for everybody, but there is more than enough variety in what I do here that there is bound to be something for everyone. And I know of nobody anywhere doing anything remotely like what I do. For your pleasure.”
